★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not be misled by the photos which shows the swing bridge. This is just a viewpoint hike and the bridge does not exist at this track. Beautiful views at the summit but quite a hike up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprisingly good walk: steady climb through regenerating bush on good track with view of Murchison from near the top and the Buller Valley and ranges from the top. Great way to stretch the legs and calm the mind.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not be deviced by Mr POD, there is no swing bridge. There is a bench at the top of a long windy uphill walk. I was trying to impress a girl with my promises of a swing bridge (as per the photos by Mr POD). She was none too impressed, a failure and an insult

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice. Steep hill though, was misty when we got to the top which was a bummer. There is no steel looking bridge like the photos on Google though so that was a disappointment ? but still a great walk.
