★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the few chain restaurants decorated with Maori ornaments. Seems that the Rotorua brings the best of the culture. Service was fast and decent. The place is large, with a nice kids area, along with seats outside. Inside is spacious and well distributed. Toilets were clean and everything looks organized. It was the third time in this venue.

From the disinterested voice, to the final window where she pretty much threw the food at me, to the burgers that didn't even have all the toppings on it, how many more things can one location screw up? Oh yeah! Let's not forget the flat Coke. Thank God I don't have this store near me, and yes, I say store cause it's in no way a restaurant. In fact. 2 stars is extremely generous.

I love mcdonalds and go very frequently down south.
Went to this particular one at nearly 8pm on a Monday night.
It was extremely busy which usually would be fine but the wait time was insane for every order I could see.
Staff never acknowledged any customer waiting.
Could see them standing out the back no mask drinking which usually would be fine but not in a busy rush.
Staff were arguing about breaks in front of everyone for some reason?
Then I finally got my order and it was WRONG.
Ordered a deluxe quarter pounder which is a new fav and ended up getting a double quarter pounder which was Luke warm at best and the patties were so greasy and fatty I couldn't even finish it!
Will never return here! It was revolting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff here were more concerned with joking and laughing rather than service. My partner wanted for 30 minutes for a small order. Absolutely terrible service. The food was also cold.
