★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family I do not recommend you waste your money going here. We paid over $300 for a family of 7. There was not a great variety of food. The food was cold. The seafood was not fresh. The hot food was dry and old. Desserts were not nice and dry. Fizzy was soda water with no flavour. Majorly overpriced. Definitely not what ValentineWe left feeling very disappointed and ripped off. Wish we had read the reviews before we had gone

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When you put love into your food the customers will know. And really there just wasn't any in this food. We had come from Wellington to celebrate my sister's 30th and never again. Food was weird tasting and old if you ask me.i usually take pics of my food but there just wasn't any points. $44 per person wasn't worth it. I wouldn't even pay $20 for that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the few all-you-can-eat buffets left, Valentine's Rotorua was a new experience for my kids and one they thoroughly enjoyed. The range of food on offer was amazing and it was all well presented and tasty. It was a bit more expensive than I expected, but on the otherhand it was a special experience my kids are unlikely to forget, so worth it.

Would be one of the best dinners I've had for a very long long time, as was expected the seafood was fresh , the seafood Chowder was full of seafood and not like soup . While we were there couldn't help but notice that the table's were wiped and disinfected.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere and good value for money if you have a big stomach! Great seafood and dessert range although the oysters were small and you sometimes end up eating little bits of shell... There's a step near the food that's funny to watch people almost stumble over it haha.
All and all you should go once I promise you that you will leave feeling "full as a bull" just be ready to bump into people over and over again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was hot outside so to come into a fresh,and clean restaurant with the air conditioning on was re-freshing,the chefs were polite & helpful steak cooked amazing,desserts were beautiful especially the apple crumble and custard,raw fish was terrible tasted like vinegar,the pizza was beautiful and we'll presented,my 7year old punished the oysters they were devine.
The staff that showed us our table was lovely,due to covid she made sure we were following protocol at all times,emptied our tables when needed to,and greeted us on our way in & just as we were about to leave,her name was Liz,Thankyou Rotorua valentine's for giving us a beautiful exsperience of your restaurant we will be back to dine in again soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Price was a little much for the quality of the food. My main dishes were soaked in sweet chilli sauce nearly every dish I chose had chilli sauce in it. Seafood wasn’t very pleasant. Deserts were soggy or wet from freezer, Custard watery. Mac and cheese just wasn’t your normal cheesy taste it tasted like flour and cream.this place needs a new chef/cook. Wouldn’t recommend unless you don’t mind eating bad food for high pricing. Now I wouldn’t mind the price if the food was really good. They’ll be getting a seeeyah from me. Besides the negatives the waitress was nice.
