About Monsoon Poon
We are open from 12pm till late Monday-Friday, and 5pm till late Saturday and Sunday. We take bookings for lunch and we have a selection of tables available for early evening dinner bookings where your reserved table will be allocated to you for 2 hours. We always keep tables free for walk-ins, and once the dining room is full, we run an efficient waitlist and invite you to enjoy a cocktail in our bar area while you wait. We take online bookings for parties up to 8 guests, and we welcome all larger booking enquiries to please email us, [email protected]. We have 2 fantastic spaces available for hire for private events too; the Shangri-La room which can host up to 20 guests, and the Atrium which can accommodate larger parties up to 50 guests.
Our full menu is available for takeaway and there is delivery available with our delivery partner service, UberEats.

We were 9 adults and 3 kids and had ordered combo starters 45$ (not worth the price and the serving size - avoid) wok lobster 39$ an ok dish. The lobster was cut in pieces so lost it’s delicacy. Bali prawns 28$, this also ok. Nothing special. Singaporean fired noodles with chicken 27$. This was good. Bangkok street noodles with chicken 24$ which was ok. And for kids had satay chicken skewers which was actually nice.
For presentation 5/5..
Overall for taste and the serving size the food is 3/5. The ambience and service was nice and would rate 4/5.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yummy as food, little bit expensive, little bit loud and crowded. Great customer service. Really nice cocktail and food menu. I had a pork belly dish, partner had fire cracker chicken. And they were 10/10 yum yum. We also had really nice desserts. 2 people, 2 mains, 2 desserts 2 drinks 1 non alcoholic = $102

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really great meal and large interesting selection of food and drinks! I tried the Shaking beef from the mains section and it was delicious, the beef was so tender and all the flavours really worked well together. However the dressing on the side was very acidic and I’d add it to your preferred taste. To drink I had a Chang, I thought it was nice that there were foreign beer options to match the cuisine. The staff were polite and very accomodating. Overall a great and happy experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went there for my friend's 40th. Phenomenal food, super flavourful and cooked to perfection. The cocktails are delicious & pack a punch and are some of the most well priced I've ever seen. Only downfall is the table/drink service. Maybe understaffed? I had to keep looking around for a waiter for ages every time I wanted to order another drink. The waiters were super friendly though. I would definitely still go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food and lovely ambience. A bit pricey but not a problem as the food tasted good. The staff were very nice too. The only issue I had was when we asked if we could get takeaway boxs for the leftover curry and rice, the food was taken inside and packed into the same container. The next day, it was all mushy, soggy and unpleasant to eat. Would've been happy to pay for a separate takeaway container for the rice. Apart from this, everything else was great!
