★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely terrible service. Been on/off coming here for the past few years. One of the bar ladys has an absolute power trip. One occasion I purchased a cider, this was sold to me and within a few minutes subsequently confiscated from me and when I complained, the bartender went and got the bouncer who was just as confused as to why we were being kicked out. Took my money and my drink. What a joke.
Went back here just the other night and whilst lined up outside having a chat to the same bouncer, the bartender told the bouncer to not let us in. Again the bouncer was confused and implied she must not like us very much. Turns out this bartender is the bar manager, absolutely power hungry, incredibly rude and without care for the customer or the reputation of the bar.
TL:DR
•Bar manager charged me for a drink that she refused to let me have.
• Have been seemingly banned from the bar for complaining about the drink issue.
I'd highly recommend going elsewhere. Lots of other good bars in the area such as Malthouse, Dakota or practically any other bar.
- Long-term customer who wont be coming back and seemingly is allowed back.
