You need a Vacine pass to stay here which is not advertised on website or booking information
When they gave us the keys after 2pm the Room was still messy from previous guest.
We had to come back at night to have room prepared.
This comes up as one of the pet friendly stays in booking website, however this
is a contradiction as they are not pet friendly.
I made a booking for 4 adults. After changes two adults and two children stayed there and they charged us extra.
My mum had too sleep in van because she felt uncomfortable as the Staff were grumpy
I'd steer clear of this as there are more cheaper and suitable options in Gissborne.
Try Airbnb or some of the Beach side ones as the host are much more freindly and professional.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here over the New Year and as a result paid premium rates. Lovely family motel away from the cbd but was very disappointed that the owner felt it was ok to party thru the night with friends just down from our room. At 1:30 am had to forcefully ask them to stop with the very loud music and flashing lights.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great time had by whanau over Waitangi weekend 2022. Nice clean rooms and great service from a quiet family friendly safe motel with great hosts. The scooters, bikes and pool kept the kids entertained and cool for the duration our our stay. This was the perfect location for our long weekend. Would recommend this motel to anyone and will be staying there again
