β β β β β Lovely spot to stay overlooking the Gisborne Port and river. Excellent kitchen facilities, which is unusual for a hotel. Well located for some of Gisborne's best restaurants and Cafe's. A short walk to both town and the beach.

β β β β β Lovely welcome from reception, love the view from the room, the room was very clean and there was room to move, got a good kitchen with a dishwasher, it had everything you wanted. Come to gisborne and book into portside.

β β β β β Absolutely over priced and the rooms tiny. Stayed three days during which we were never acknowledged by reception staff who clearly felt whatever was on their computer screen was more important than common courtesy. We will not be returning !

β β β β β Good hotel, the swimming pool is great. However, itβs not a cheap hotel but the service unfortunately its not up to the price they charge.
We didnβt feel too welcomed to it, maybe is the time. Quite pricey Iβd say.

β β β β β Great hotel and awesome location on the river. Reception staff and cleaning staff were brilliant, give them a payrise, best customer service experience I have had in a long time. Clean, tidy rooms and all the amenities including great off street parking. Highly recommend.
