★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This 462m peak offers 360 degree panoramic views of Christchurch city, the Canterbury plains, the Southern Alps, Pegasus Bay, Lyttelton Harbour and the Port Hills. It's a 10 minute walk from the nearby carpark on the Summit Road to its west; it's a short fairly steep climb over rocks and tussock and not difficult. It is exposed to the weather, and slippery underfoot if wet. There is another path to the peak from the Summit Road 400m due north of the peak, which is less steep but longer and is a higher climb because it starts from a lower elevation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very famous place in Christchurch. Gives you a whole city look. One side is city and another side is Littleton (ocean) makes it a beautiful place to go and spend some quality time. Also, famous for all activities like mountains hiking, biking, running and walking. Local people comes here for walking. Actually going to this places by road itself a treat, gives a great view throughout the way but at same time its dangerous too.
