β β β β β Stunning views from the top. Pity there's a tree in the way or you'd have a complete 360 degree vista to take in. Walk is pretty easy even with kids apart from the last 50 metres climbing over rocks.

β β β β β If you are staying in Tairua, or just driving past, it is 100% worth the short climb. It will take only 45 minutes to head up and down and has some of the best views in the region.

β β β β β Gorgeous view in coromandel peninsula, even better than the cathedral cove and hot water beach. Do not miss the views for such a light hike. If the weather is good you can see a bunch of islands.

β β β β β Easy climb to the summit, and I really summit of mount Paku. Spectacular 360 view of pauanui and tairua. The last 50 metres can be a bit steep, best to go during sunny and dry day. Highly recommended

β β β β β Car park is on Paku Dr where big grass area and playground is.
Walk across the grass upto 1st walkway post and follow it upto the next street above then turn left to the next post then continue to walk up the steps, once you reach the top take another left to next post and follow this track to summit, where you get nice views of Tairua and surrounding area.

β β β β β Overall quite an easy 40 minute return hike to the summit. It get a little rocky near the summit. The only downside is you have to park your car half way up at the carpark so a bit inaccessible for elderly. Well makes up for the great 360 view
