About Muddy Paws Exclusive Dog Homestay
Due to resource consent conditions our drop off and pick up hours are strictly stated. These hours also minimise the time when the dogs become hyper-aroused by comings and goings so that they can concentrate on playing in a calm atmosphere. Our property is gated so entry outside these hours is not possible.
8.30am - 10am
Everyday except Sunday mornings
4.30pm - 6pm
Everyday except Saturday evenings

β β β β β Burt loves it so much we feel bad collecting him! All the dogs are so loved and cared for. Being able to watch Burt play while we are away is awesome, he always looks so happy!

β β β β β 1st class experience. Like a home away from home. Dixie just loves it there. And Tamzen is amazing. In fact it's almost too good. I was worried Dixie wouldn't want to come back. Highly reccommend . It's a the perfect place to leave your furry friend while out of town.

β β β β β Tamzen is one of a kind. Her care and attention to each of the dogs is remarkable. She genuinely appreciates each dogs unique personality. My Koda starts whining the moment we get to the driveway, he knows he is about to have the best holiday - huge property full of rabbit smells, ponds, sticks and dogs to run with. We don't take Koda anywhere else now, nothing can compare.

β β β β β I could not recommend Maddypaws more, it is a fabuously run, homestay, I certainly wouldn't look any further than here, and certainly would'nt consider going anywhere else, Shanti my gorjuss Staffie loves her time with Tamzen and family. Tamzen is truly passionate, professional and compassionate towards the dogs, knowing them all intimately acknowledging there individual personalities. You can easily tell she loves her work with the dogs, they are well cared for in a very clean peaceful environment. Top marks Tamzen we are so grateful for you!! I couldn't/wouldn't feel fine leaving Shanti with just anyone, it enables me to go away without worrying at all about her knowing she is going to be well cared for & have a fabulous time and even get updates ie lovely pics and videos. She just loves Muddypaws!!! & so do I.......Thanku

Our Joy always enjoys her stays here. It's great the dogs are taken together for interesting walks and a swim if they like that. The kennels Joy was staying at closed so we feel greatly blessed to find Tamzen and Muddy Paws.
