β β β β β Only a short drive away form the cute, quaint and unique town of Akaroa, Mumfordβs is a treasure in and of itself. Beautiful inside and out this little private spot makes the most of its picturesque surroundings. A big thanks to our wonderful hosts, we made the most of the hammock and loved exploring the gardens right down to the water edge. The house offered a cosy fire at night and a spectacular morning view. All in all, the most amazing weekend in an amazing location. Thanks again for your wonderful hospitality Nicky βΊ

β β β β β Just delightful. We were allowed to access the property from very early morning after arriving from overseas. The gardens are just delightful, the property well equipped. The whole package is stunning. I particularly note the excellent communications before we arrived. We felt like part of the family with restaurant bookings and suggested sites to visit.

β β β β β My partner and I stayed at Mumford accommodation for a couple of nights, it is extremely pleasant, and the hosts are very welcoming. They gave us some duck eggs to cook for breakfast whuch were really fresh and yummy. Plenty of firewood for the log burner to keep us toasty as the weather was quite cool and rainy. The wet room shower and heated flooring were great, top quality oven and induction hob loads of pots and pans, crockery and cutlery. We didn't use the outdoor bath but it was big enough for two people. Fabulous views across the Akaroa harbour and over the large sloping garden down to the beach with lots of native birds in the trees. This lovely place and its friendly hosts make this a six out of five rating. Thanks Nicky and Fran.

β β β β β We stayed for 6 nights and it was amazing!! The views were stunning, the peace, privacy and birdsong were so so restful. Our hosts were lovely making our holiday all the more special with little treats of salmon and duck eggs. Wonderful place to stay, value for money and well equipped.
