About Natalie Pasco Photography
We are both Kiwis and I have been in the wedding photography and portrait photography business full time since 2016 after completing my Diploma in Photography. I shoot on a Camera 5D mark iv.
I picked up a camera for pretty much the first time when I decided to go on my big O.E. to Europe in 2004. It was a Nikon DSLR and used film. It was a bit of a pain carrying rolls of film around for 4 months and a little bit of suspense when I came back to New Zealand to process all my photos at the camera shop.
Before becoming a photographer, I was a legal secretary for over a decade. The working to deadlines and organisation skills I learnt from this job has helped me coordinate and organise weddings. I can't stress enough how important it is to be organised for your wedding, before the actual day. I can help you with this, but ultimately we need to know timings and everything about your special day. By knowing every detail about your wedding, it means that I have an overview and know where to be and when.
I see myself as a photographer who will turn up and come and shoot YOUR PRECIOUS MOMENTS. As each moment is different, I don't want the photos to be 'staged' or typical. Every event is different because every person is unique and YOUR photos should reflect YOU, not me. All I do is frame that with a particular eye. To me photos should be a beautiful and heightened version of the reality of your event, but still very much about you. I will work with you and ask you what type of shoot you want and photos that you are drawn to, however as it is about you, I will make it unique to you.
I live in old Botany Downs, Auckland, New Zealand with my husband Phil, who is my second shooter for weddings. He gets all the shots from different angles and high up on the ladder.
We first met on IRC an internet chat client when Phil lived in Rotorua and I was up here in Auckland. After that, we didn't remain in contact until a couple of years later when we made contact again through NZDating. We have been married for over a decade now.
The reason behind setting up Natalie Pasco Photography was because when we got married, we had a budget as we had just purchased a house and couldn't afford to spend thousands ($5,000+) on a photographer. We aim to produce nice, memorable photos, at a fair price.
We love to travel and have been lucky to visit Australia, Pacific Islands, Asia, Europe, South America, America, Canada.
We adore animals and have one cat, named Gracie.

β β β β β After our plans changing from preparing for a big wedding, we decided to elope and had a few friends present on the day.
I'm fond of nature and Iβve always followed Natalie's work through facebook. I particularly liked the forest wedding photo and wanted to include some aspect of nature in my wedding photography.
The four hour wedding package suited us perfectly to get ceremony photos and nature photos.

After months of emails back and forth since our first enquiry, Natalie has always had our best interests at heart.Β Her style attracted us and it made a difference that the pricing was clear on the website, unlike some other photographers where they don't show you their pricing.
Natalie is respectful, professional, easy to get along with and let's not forget she's very delightful to be around. We aren't really the types to love having our photos taken, but we just enjoyed our day and got many candid shots of us interacting with our guests.Β Having the second photographer also helped catch different angles too!
She captured all the beautiful moments and at the same time created even more beautiful moments. If we could give you 100 stars, that's definitely where our rating would sit!
