★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have shopped at NL for over 10 years. The staff were usually only interested in selling me the NL extended warranty and couldn’t explain nor understand the difference between the CGA and their warranty. Some staff are really knowledgeable about their products, some not so much. I have never had to take anything back for repair until i purchased a samsung S21 phone, that faulted (bottom speaker) after 4 months. NL solution, send it away for 2 weeks to Auckland (from Dunedin) and also it will be factory reset when it gets back. Pretty annoying for me as i use my phone for business. Loan phone? Get ready to get in your time machine because what is on offer is a phone that can make calls and texts. Which for me just wont work. So i realise i am going to need to buy another phone before i send the S21 away, i ask NL, hey, can you guys do anything for me here? “No we don’t make any money on phones” not interested at all. I asked, can i have my money back, if the fault turns out to be a factory fault (i knew it was) “no we cant do that” Pretty weak response. It was clear there was no desire to really help me out here. I have had no communication from NL since my phone was sent away for repair approx 4 weeks ago. Only two texts from samsung “the parts we need to fix your device are delayed, we will be in touch with an update”, had that message twice. Just piss poor

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently bought an OLED tv from the store and found the service really good. I'm not an impulsive buyer so I appteciated not being rushed into a decision. I took a couple days tot hink about and research the TV's I was considering and then went back and made the purchase. I'll gladly go back and make further purchases purely because of the great customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fast service, friendly staff and good COVID protocols. It was great to see that they still have their QR code readily available for those that wish to sign in. So many businesses have misunderstood the removal of the madatory requirement to sign in (but it is optional) as a requirement to remove all ability to sign in.

Look around please...
