OUR COMPANY
North City Heating has been in the same location for over 30 years and are positioned in the centre of the busy North Shore area. The company was established by Paul and Christine Smith in 1983 and started specialising in wood fires and over the years, they have transitioned into the gas market once again specialising in gas heating. Today the business is truly a family affair with not only Paul and Christine’s son working in the business but also some of the grandchildren. The hallmark of the business has not changed over the years. As customer satisfaction has always been North City Heating’s goal and this is reflected by the repeat business as existing customers return to upgrade to new products. North City Heating are even into the next generation with sons and daughters of existing customers now coming to see them for their expertise. This type of repeat business cannot be bought but has to be earnt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had these people around for a quote to install a Masport fire in a 2 storey house, clearly it was beyond his (Paul) skill level. That would have been fine, if he'd just said that, but no, he phones a couple of days later telling us he'd been speaking to Masport, and it couldn't be done. Spoke directly to Masport, "no, should be fine". Got an expert in, job done, and signed off. Need a fire, go somewhere else.

The installation was flawless, even when they encountered some unexpected difficulties, they mastered it perfectly. We are extremely happy (and warm). Loving it.
