Had ordered Punjabi Thali,was a wonderful delight. Felt so much like home food and in one thali the portion was really enormous. Two adults can share nicely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They increased the Samosa price to $2.50 from $1.50 within few weeks ! The size of samosa stayed the same. That's $1 increase. We do understand inflation but increasing it by $1 is something. Also the lady at the counter has not been friendly. Will need to look elsewhere to source our work samosa party :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a nice plate to grab Indian food but recently realizing that their standards are lowering in terms of quantity. I personally acknowledge the business expenses going up due to cost of living crisis and staff shortage is hurting on the top. But if you guys lifting up the prices of items, mindful of maintaning the standard as well. Especially work on the quantity which is far less what it used to be. Thanks in advance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was more delicious than we had expected. All of us were pleasantly surprised. We have to order downstairs and dine upstairs. The dining hall is very informal. We can fetch our own crockery, cutlery, tissues, etc., even the takeaway boxes. Not surprisingly, there won't be many leftovers to take home.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff is very friendly and atmospher is very cool and chill. In my last visit Shivani served me Pani Puri and dinner. After the dinner Parul offered hot gulab jamun in sweets which was really amazing and fresh. Thanks everyone who is doing great job in Novelty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This used to be one of my favorite spots for vegetarian dinning when they opened in Auckland. Then we moved away however was in the area last week and disappointed to say the service nor the quality is the same. Smaller portions bit more pricey and order took a while despite not being too busy for dine in.
