★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A convenient, nicely placed restaurant amongst other Botany shops. We ordered couple of chat items, North Indian fried bread (Bhature) and one of the Indo Chinese dish (chicken chowmein). Excellent Dahi poori ? and must try dish was Chana Bhatura?. Alloo tikki was average and personally i have had better chowmein versions at other restaurants. Friendly staff/manager. Limited seating and clean ambience. Well done and keep it up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Doesn't open exactly on time. Several times I would come for an early lunch and they would not be open at 11:30 as advertised.
Food was overly sweet and was far from the authentic Indian that they purport to be. Despite the apparent high review score, the restaurant is almost always empty; they barely fill half their tables even during peak lunch hours. Now I see why.
As a side note, their lunch special is subject to a lot of conditions so it's not really the deal it appears to be.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had takeaway from Jalwa on 9/05/2020 and the food was amazing. I would totally recommend them if you're near botony mall and feel like having Indian. There snacks and mains are both amazing. There service was good too. They followed proper distancing and everything. With everything going on right now, please order through their website and support small businesses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been there today for the first time...ordered a Family Breyani...oh my word...DELICIOUS!!! ..and quite a generous portion for a family!!!!The staff is friendly and go out of their way to please their customers!! The chef promised me that it will be exactly what I wanted...I asked for mild to medium...and thats what I got!! Yummmm!! I am hooked..will go back again to try other dishes. Prices are reasonable too. Well done!!!!! See you soon.

Special thanks for the extraordinary courteous services and attention provided by all staff and the owner. Recommended to all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went a few weeks ago for lunch with a friend. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. Told us the restaurant was under new management. Food was very tasty. We each had our own portions, but we could easily have shared. Loved the decor. A cosy-sized space. Would definitely go back.
