I was told they will phone me with a quote.
A week later I went in, they said they will phone me.
Another week later, still no phone call.
I then decided to collect my item, as I had no phone call yet again, 2 weeks wasted.
Supporting local, doesn't always pay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After being mucked around by other phone repairers ie..2-5 day turnaround, 3-4 weeks to order part, and the quotes were rather mis-matched and seemed expensive.
My wife found this shop in Silverdale Village.
Wow! Great service..part was avaliable in store, phone was repaired in 1.5hrs, and the price was $100 less than next cheapest quote. Phone came back mint condition. I'll be using these guys again. Cheers lads

I dropped a Macbook pro off with a touch bar that wasn't working, they informed me it would be a $40 diagnostic fee which was non refundable which was fine, after having the lap top for OVER a month i began calling every few days for updates in which i was palmed off with our technician is out of the shop at the moment. So after 2 weeks of that i said i am coming to collect my laptop. They then called me within half an hour to say its a $600 part to repair and can be fixed ready for pick up tomorrow. I decided against the repair, took the laptop home and read on google how to do a hard reset (basic repair shop first point of call) after a hard reset the touch bar worked and the laptop is 100%, so not only did they not do any form of diagnostic they just jumped straight to replacing the part after i pressured to take my laptop back, after this i called up and asked for my diagnostic fee back as they clearly didn't do one but i was declined. Will never recommend this shop, terrible customer service, terrible communication and more than happy to rip you off

Super quick and great value for money.
The best part was I'd taken it to another shop in the mall the day before who quoted me $500+ GST to repair and a week turnaround. NZ electronics fixed for 1/3 of the price and in 15 minutes. Awesome job!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought my wife's phone in for a screen replacement. It took four days. Paid $250 for an off-brand screen which cracked within 24 hours of being installed. They said it would not be covered by their warranty because apparently I damaged it on purpose? So essentially: terrible service, poor quality parts and workmanship. Very disappointing.
I would recommend any potential customers look closely at their '90 day warranty', especially the part where they will only repair "non user-caused damage", which means they can refuse to repair any problem by claiming it is user-caused.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On my family’s recommendation, when I have a problem with my electronic devices, I now go to Silverdale to have them repaired at this shop. They were able to repair my iPhone charging port within an hour while I did my shopping – and at a reasonable price. Then I brought in my very old laptop that needed a new battery. They were able to source a used one and had the computer working within a day (thought it was going to be much longer) – again, at a good price. I’m very happy with the service they’ve given me.
