G	Gerard McCall on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lots of Sandflies, potential to rain heaps, long drive in. But worth the effort. Many years ago there was a shelter here that was actually a really good thing. But Dept of Conservation in their usual "self appointed wisdom' went and demolished it. There is a long drop dunny here but that is about all there is. The road in is suitable for most types of vehicles in the summer months. Good for the isolationist!
A	Alan Doak on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We rode motorbikes down to this campsite. The single lane dirt track is not for the faint hearted, but, if you're game you'll be rewarded with spectacular views and a beautiful, quiet, remote campsite. There's one long drop toilet and that's all.
A	Ali on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stop off cruising the lake or a wicked wee drive through the back road to the tranquil camping spot. Just take lots of insect repellent, sandflies and mosquitoes are insane.
