Took our Cavalier into Studio Hound after Bree assured me she had ample experience with the breed and wouldn't do the Cavoodle buzz. BIG MISTAKE. Our dog was clipped down (he's a long-haired breed) and suffered a number of clipper abrasions and a decent cut on the back of his ear. We wanted to give Bree the benefit of the doubt by privately emailing her but she denied the cuts happened with her and claimed there is no such thing as a Cav groom.....any Google search of the breed shows what their coats are supposed to look like. The groomer was very hostile towards us, offered no apology or refund.
Would give no stars if possible

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My dog have to see vet after grooming at Studio Hound. So sad. My dog’s skin is red and itchy after grooming in the same day. My dog seems very uncomfortable and keep hardly licking his skin. He can’t sleep all night. I took my dog to see vet. Also my dog’s nail is too sharp after their cut. Too bad experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I took my 5 month old Griffon puppy in for his first ever full groom and am really happy with how he looks. He was very well treated and now looks amazing. They groomed him perfectly and I will definitely go back again in due course. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did a great job with our dog a couple months ago, who is a large Whippet poodle. Full groom, deep conditioning and nail trimming. Were told to maybe take him elsewhere next time as he was pretty strong and there were no 'men' at their centre which was quite SEXIST - as if all other women couldn't handle a big dog just cos 1 person couldn't. I admit our dog is excitable and it wouldn't have been easy - I do appreciate it; however, why have an option for big dogs if they are unable to provide this service.
