β β β β β Amazing skipper, well trained coordinators, all supplies (food, first aid, water, coffee, etc) is in abundance. Apart from sea sickness in first couple of hours rest experience was above and beyond. Thank you guys

β β β β β Fantastic time. Crew were very friendly and approachable. Skipper was great, telling bits of history. Also a keen eye for seeing dolphins. The swim part didn't really work because the dolphins were on a mission but you can't help that. They are wild. Finding the 100+ pod of dolphins and seeing them all around the boat is something I will never forget. amazing experience. Would recommend to anyone. Even people who aren't asking. Wear more than one application of sunscreen though.

β β β β β We had the most incredible experience last week with the Orca Wild Adventures crew! The boat was great -comfy and spacious, and the crew were friendly and knowledgeable. We had a group of 5 + my 2.5 year old and it was a great day for all. The swim mats out the back are genius! Swimming with the Dolphins was absolutely amazing! Definitely a day to remember, I highly recommend a trip out with these guys!

β β β β β What started as a slightly choppy and overcast morning turned into a beautifully sunny afternoon. Caught a few pods of dolphins and had the amazing opportunity to swim with one of them. Would definitely recommend as a group activity if you're around Tauranga. Make sure to take some seasickness meds as it is a long boat ride.

β β β β β This is an amazing day trip that I can't recommend enough. The crew are fun and friendly, trying their hardest to make sure you have a truly magical experience. We saw a superpod with around 150-200 dolphins, we couldn't swim with this pod as they had babies, but a smaller pod was found later. The swimming part is clever, with poles that fold into the water, allowing you to be slowly dragged along with the boat whilst looking under the water with a snorkel, so you can keep up and see the Dolphins. The snorkeling later is also brilliant, seeing seals relaxing in the water and a reef with some interesting fish. Definitely book this trip if you have time in Tauranga

β β β β β This little day trip was exactly what we were looking for for a fun family day out. The staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable, my kids had a lot of fun and learned a lot from the crew! And we saw much more wildlife than I had anticipated, it was amazing. Will be back next summer!

β β β β β It was a memorable day with multiple pods of dolphins viewed from the boat. We left the dock just after 7.30 am and travelled for about 2+ hours on the boat. If you get seasick, they give you something to drink. They also provide coffee, tea and hot water. Staff was friendly and informed us of safety and what to expect. Swimming with the dolphins takes a bit of strength because of the current and because we were being pulled by the boat and we had to use our arm strength. Must have good grip. Even if you didnβt swim with them, seeing them up close was life changing. Dolphins were wild but curious. We went to their feeding grounds but made sure we didnβt disturb them. Bonus was we got to see a baby dolphin! That was amazing. Captain was knowledgeable and knew their patterns. Would recommend.

β β β β β What a fantastic day for our family! The boat was comfortable and tidy. The staff were so kind and helpful and efficient. The skipper gave great info about the area and dolphins. We got lucky and had the chance to swim with a pod (apparently it is not always the case). The thing I really appreciated was that the skipper was mindful to catch up to the pod so that we could continue to swim with them. This meant short bursts of swimming and then out of the water to pick up speed and catch up. Sounds simple but made a big difference to the experience as the dolphins move so fast.
The 'rest time' to have lunch and snorkel was also a real highlight as everyone played and had a great time before a long snooze on the ride back to port.
Couldn't recommend these guys enough. Thank you!
