★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy, varied walk with a lovely cafe nearby. Takes around 1 hour or longer if you go at a more leisurely pace ... stop to play Pooh sticks or take photos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was a beautiful walk along a little river. Short walk, but there were a ton of different types of birds and ducks to view. No hills, so great for all ages. Small river that flows through the property. Also, if you are lucky, you will get to see the trail come by too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Historically and geologically interesting. Beautiful scenery. Turn off points that can make the walk longer/shorter/harder or easier. At times seals, sealions, penguins and marine bird life. All in all a good walk. If the weather closes in nearby is Estuary walk and a good coffee to be had at Blueskin Nursery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Conservationists have done a fabulous job restoring this natural habitat, breathing life into what was derelict neglected scrub from early settlers mismanagement of land with no understanding of natural equilibrium or sustainability...Delightful walk. Saw 20 Pukeko which is a record for me and testament to the restoration project.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mint easy walk with some native bush & native bird life, takes about 45mins to do a loop, try time it for when the tide is right in for the best views, still great anytime though

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed our walk around the Lagoon. Sign for the path a little confusing in the village as it was a different name. Mostly the walk is easy though at one side of the Lagoon there are some steepish parts to the path for people who are less mobile or steady on their feet. Lovely to see the bird life.
