Very nice view and toilets are clean.
However, there is not much parking for Freedom campers.
Would highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We love sitting here watching the ships, people, families. The birds are funny to watch too...before they changed the tops of the garbage cans the birds would pull it out searching for fast food..oh the mess.
The chairs are a welcome edition as great for photo ops. I would live to see a couple picnic tables on this side too.
Sit on the westshore side and it's like a different place again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely park area at the entrance to the Ahuriri Estuary. There is a beautiful beach here for swimming, public toilets, an old light house, plenty of parking and five large chairs in different colours for photo opportunities or to sit and enjoy the view. Nice spot to come for a walk or a bike ride or to just sit and watch the boats coming and going from the harbour.
