★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A variety of different birds and other creatures, including some fairly hefty long-finned eels. Staff are very knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. Even got to see a Kiwi poke around in the nocturnal house (no photos allowed in there).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful sanctuary filled with rescued birds. The staff re very friends and the birds, reptiles and insect seem very happy and content. It is a rare sight to see many of these species up close and it was a great way to spend a a day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent bird park, friendly staff. Unfortunately Kiwis are wild animals and spotting one can be tough. We did see a kiwi, luckily. You need to see yhe duck called "thunder"

There were other birds in the kiwi house also. There's an aggressive duck that made the experience really enjoyable. Charged at us and quacked loudly every time he saw us.
Some cute geckos too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best Kiwi bird viewing to date, and I've seen a dozen or so enclosures to date. The park is cool, get right up to the animals....fun for the kids too as the some of the birds are well adjusted to human presence.
Park is currently under minor renovation, but still quite good.
