Amazing experience, during the covid 19 vaccination I was very nervous. But as I was getting vaccinated I didnt even know when we finished. She made me to focus on something else rather then the vaccine itself. Outstanding !!

This isn’t a reflection of my doctor- she is incredible. However, I have had countless issues with the practice itself, especially in getting repeat scripts for medication I have been on for years. Their website and service is SHOCKING. I ordered a script on it and end up having to get an emergency supply from my pharmacist when it didn’t come through after 5 days (I later found out it was only working for appointments). I then left a message on their repeat prescription line (which tells you to go on their website) and after repeated calls from my pharmacist to the clinic there was still no way to get it except wait and see. Because of this, I made an online appointment for the following day (Saturday) to make sure I wouldn’t run out. I then got the script (from the answer phone message). So I call to cancel the appointment. I spoke to the receptionist and I found out that they aren’t working Saturdays so I never actually had an appointment at all even though I’d got the confirmation on their website. In my opinion, a person shouldn’t have to put anywhere near this amount of effort into getting the medication they need. They also shouldn’t be misled into believing they have an appointment scheduled, which in fact was not going to happen. I hope the centre learns from this and sorts out their logistical issues as it really impacts the care that they are able to provide.

Patients for mmm can’t remember. Made appt for another Dr in practice as needed another prescription….. usual Dr booked out need a face to face. Wow Mr Grumpy …. hey also working in Health give me a break just rude with a timer … oh time up …. give the public a break everyone in the same boat no one goes to their Dr as a social visit ……. for that price …. come on be civil if it’s too hard retire!

I've been getting the same prescription since 2014 from this practice, in the last few years they've become absolutely incompetent. Never receiving prescription requests and patients having to constantly follow up and ask them to do the basics of their job, it's not good enough. Constantly being put through to the prescription answer machine which they obviously never check because they never confirm your prescription had been received or contact you if there's an issue.

I totally agree with the post I have read on the poor service of the practice. I have experienced shocking service from their staff in terms of prescriptions, appointments and the website. There is very little customer service and no accountability. Now that my GP has retired I will be looking for a new practice I have lost all trust and confidence is dealing with Pakuranga Family Medical.

Drove 40 minutes from the shore to visit because my old GP moved here; well worth the drive! The team are all friendly and it is rare to actually have Doctors who follow up and go above and beyond. 100% would recommend to anyone.

The GP I visit is fantastic, less can be said about the rest of the services they provide.. appointments, prescriptions and customer service leave a lot to be desired. They perform far from what they claim on their website "Our vision is to provide a centre of excellence enhancing the lives of our patients." Sad to say in recent months I have felt my life less than enhanced.
