β β β β β Absolutely beautiful garden with tons of stunning plants, flowers and trees. Lots of exotic plants and greenhouses and it's the kind of place where you'd just like to stroll around, have a picnic and read a book. You put money in the honesty box and can go enjoy the gardens. There's also an arboretum in the fields you can go enjoy. You can see this is a place that is kept with love. You can also rent this place for weddings and events

β β β β β Beautiful gardens, lots of interesting and unusual plants and pottery/garden art/sculptures. Amazing cacti and 'Garden Of Death'! Worth the little drive to get there and the donation.

β β β β β Without a doubt a world class garden right here in Whanganui. My Husband and I visited this garden many years ago when the Wedding garden area was not long planted and now it is stunning. Thanks for sharing it with visitors from everywhere.

β β β β β Definitely a must see!!!
Go on an adventure in this amazing garden.
And when youβre done exploring the garden, hit up the motorcycle museum. We met the friendly host wandering around the garden, and they gave us the perfect route to explore.
What to bring: Sensible shoes, $10 entry fee and some time to explore.

β β β β β Amazing hidden gem. The motorcycles are beautifully kept. And the 1 to 1.5km walk through the gardens was well worth the effort.

β β β β β Wonderful gardens, itβs like traveling the gardens of the world. We spend a good 3.5 hours looking around, fascinating the number of tropical and desert plants that are grown here. It is also possible to camp here, which we chose to.

β β β β β These gardens are huge! They are a private garden and it is mentioned clearly when you enter. The amount of work they've put into each area of the garden is astounding. One moment, your walking through a bamboo forest, next it's wetlands, and then turns into a garden display of outdoor art. Very well kept, with vibes very close to what Hamilton Gardens have to offer, but with a unique and chaotic twist of its own (in a good way!). Five stars, definitely worth the visit.
