see the 800-900 year old Kauri Tree, lovely local Museum of the towns past pioneers, small gift shop. Bush walks are in the park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful kauri trees, one of them is 800 years old and the other is 600 years old. Enjoy the walking tract which only take 25 minutes return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice walk on boardwalk thru mature nz bush. Quite alot of stairs & some parts of the boardwalk are a bit old & rickety but its a lovely wslk. Museum is really interesting.

Been coming here since I was little and have great memories.
The walk ways have improved and have closed off the flora and fauna to the public.
Great authentic vintage items and sceneries to be explored.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
