★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went in to make a substantial purchase a few days ago at the Dunedin store. Met by an older woman who was rude to my partner, and acted like we were a massive inconvenience to her with anything I wanted to try on, which was only 2 rings. She then served another woman on the other side and gave her decent service. Interesting to read in other reviews of a racist staff member, because this is exactly the feeling we got when we were there. VERY rude woman. It put a downer on our engagement, as I now don’t want to give our money to this store, so we just haven’t even bought a ring yet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today on the 23/12/2021 around 4:30 I had witnessed a coloured black man been bluntly ignored by staff, I understand they were helping other customers but once two staff were free the man clearly was waiting for some instance, two other customers had walked in and while staff looked at the man’s way they had turned a blind eye to him while he was clearly waiting for help but no the staff quickly asked the new customers who had entered the store if they needed help, if someone is standing there you would ask sir did you need any help with anything instead of with no hesitation helping others who didn’t ask if needed help. I found this a lack of attention and laziness this man was patient and calm the whole time he had been standing there for a good 30 minutes. The staff just turned a blind eye towards the man. He left the store empty handed and had a sad, not acknowledging look on his face. Shame on you staff who did not seem to care about this man his two friends had left him because the wait was taking awhile so they went of to do things to hurry along time. But the man who didn’t get a single help today looked alone and to me i don’t think that’s good customer service or equality in this store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I guess jewelry stores like this would look down on people with a smaller budget. Went there for an engagement ring. Didn't want to spend too much on an engagement ring because I kinda want my wedding ring to be a bit better. And I felt like being treated as though I couldn't afford anything.
Other than that, rings are fine. My gold ring is algood. Got it resized and got it back in a week.
