β β β β β Great atmosphere, nice staff. I didn't stay here, just went to the bar/restaurant.
From what I hear the rooms are good too.

β β β β β The only thing is the parking, if your lucky to get one near your room, next time you go out you will have to park on the road. Very tight for big cars

β β β β β Beds are super comfortable ? cleaning staff are fantastic, very efficient, the restaurant a little chilly in the conservatory part, meals were good, and the best part BREAKFAST so amazing although tightly packed inβ¦ One of the staff members MATHEW super friendly and above and beyond with friendliness, he said he was supposed to be in office at the back, please donβt put baby in the corner ?

β β β β β Overpriced for what you get. We got moved to another 1 bdrm unit once we complained about our ($228.00) Room that was allocated to us, needed some major revamping.
New unit was much better..which we should of been put in from the get go. Changing of rooms through DM was easy & he was very accommodatiing.

β β β β β Hi,
Our stay to be honest was far less than average. We were woken around 7 by cleaning staff and there trolleys which continued after asking them to be quiet for the next hour and a half and by then we had given up trying to get any much needed rest.
They where extremely disrespectful with there loud chatting and yelling across car park and trolleys above us also.
We live here in Christchurch and the reason for our stay was we wanted some much needed rest which we did not get.
I wish I had just booked a standard room for the two of us it looked larger and come with breakfast for cheaper.
The beds where also uncomfortable and walls paper thin and where is the courtyard view? We looked out to the car park!
I never usually would complain but feel you should know so things like this donβt happen to others.
Unfortunately will not be returning or recommending to others.

β β β β β Very helpful staff, good service. The restaurant was surprisingly good value, nice food, e.g. good steak and eggs, $25.00 . Rooms good size, well appointed.
Very close to the park and town, easy access to the airport. Will be back!

β β β β β I was fortunate to stay at the Pavilions for 4 nights. The staff were friendly and very obliging, the food great. The gardens well maintained and of course Jimmy's bar an added treat. I would highly recommend this clean and nicely decorated place to anyone that has good taste

The staff were very friendly and accommodating Jimmy's restaurant and bar was nice in the evenings with lots of local history and the big screen 4 live sport and excellent meals. I loved the breakfast buffet it had everything including pancakes. Will definitely be staying here again
