Each day is based on a 8 hour period. Extensions of hire may be made by telephone. Each hour beyond a completed day is charged at a minimum $15.00 per hour. The insurance charge is calculated on a minimum one day rate.
DRIVER QUALIFICATION
All drivers must be over 18 years of age and hold a current full NZ or recognized overseas licence which must be shown at commencement of hire.
INSURANCE
An insurance excess of $2000 genearally applies to all hires. Other excesses may apply eg: underage restricted licence, etc which are governed by our insurers. This excess must be covered by leaving a credit card imprint or other acceptable methods. All accidents, damages, or losses will be deductible from the above excess, including tyre and windscreen damage. Premium Protection Insurance, this reduces the excess to $750 which includes cover for all damage to vehicle. The minimum driver's age for this is 25 years plus.
FUEL
The rental vehicle is supplied with a full tank of fuel and refilled on return at the hirer's expense.
PAYMENT
We accept all major credit Cards. For customers who do not wish to use a credit card anonther acceptable method of covering the insurance excess is required such as a cheque.
