★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want a pie, savoury or a sweet treat, you can get them here. You will pay a fair price. I got a steak and mushroom pie, apricot pie and coffee for $9. Good price. Especially for Auckland. This is your typical bakery. The food isn't going to blow you away. But you won't be getting ripped off either. The Meat pie was pretty good too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To be honest, you probably shouldn’t trust a bakery named after the fact that it’s surrounded by pigeon nests to begin with, because of, well... hygiene. But other than that, I made the mistake of buying a smoked fish pie from here and I swear it tasted like actual vomit. I mean it was absolutely revolting. No trace of smoked fish either, it was just gelatinous cheesy goo that tasted and smelt like it was trying to give me major food poisoning. Yikes. Not to mention it was kinda pricey for a pie... I feel like my mouth was just assaulted by a garbage can and I only took one bite. Avoid this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BEST cream doughnuts, love the passionfruit flavoured ones! Amazing pies and White bread loaves too. The people who own this bakery are amazing, always friendly, smiling, polite and generous. Cannot recommend enough!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When someone comes to your bakery, don't waste thier time by saying they need to be vaccinated and then send them away. Get a portable eftpos machine and serve unvaxed people at the door. You've just lost a family of customers you've had since day one
