★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These gals are the epitome of hospitable! Delicious tea and pastries upon arrival. Great visit with sheep feeding and seeing all the work they do to help out the little blue penguins. Gorgeous scenery between here and Akaroa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place to take a Hike and see seals and other wildlife! When we walked out here there were so many seals and seal pups! Walked down to the point then walk back towards the waterfall and you will find all the seals! We had such a great time eating the seals play!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 150% one of the most beautiful places I’ve had the privilege of visiting in my life. It is a difficult,slow drive despite only being around 8km from Akaroa. This is due to the off-road gravel track winding around the mountains, with signs stating the drive is only suitable for 4WD. It is truly worth it. We saw three seals lounging in the sun, flocks of birds, beautiful shells and the beach itself is wonderful and a lovely walk. A MUST if youre near Akaroa!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most beautiful bays in New Zealand. It was over cast and raining on our Sea Kayak tour but that didn’t dampen the beauty! Lots of seals, little blue penguins and even saw hectors dolphins in the harbour. I highly recommend visiting and taking a tour.
