★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered a cappuccino 4.80 (a bit pricey) and a veg toasted sandwich. Both came fast. Coffee was lovely and strong - rare these days so 4.5 for that. Sandwich was good. Ambience good bar the noise from a machine bleeping and screaming in the mall. Popular place at lunch time especially with the older Remuera locals. Not the friendliest service but prompt. Ugh, right at the end I got a glass of water which had pink lipstick on it. The container the glasses was in was dirty too. Yuck. Because of this, 1 star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing and expensive lunch in lovely location. The quiche was warmed, but not right through and served on plates with big chips out of the edges. We asked for one coffee now and one "on hold" for later, but both arrived immediately. When reminded that one was "on hold" they took one away and just brought the same one back later, so it wasn't hot - and expensive at $5.10 each. The carrot cake was also pricey at $7.30 and my guest said it was dry and she didn't eat it all. I was embarrassed to have chosen this cafe to take an out of Auckland client to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible. Never been here before and never will again. Dirt on the floors, staff not wearing masks, forgot our orders despite very few customers. Coffee was thin, smoothie was like milk with feijoa juice. Useless customer service, no apologies.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I try to not leave bad reviews but this place deserves it. Coffee had curdled milk, they had no ice for iced drinks, floors were dirty, tables weren’t cleared. Only positive is that the price isn’t too bad given it’s location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been regulars here and thought we go back, our first visit since lockdown. We gave the tables a quick wipe, and couldn't believe the dirt that came of on our cloths. The dirt on the floors, and around the counters were not todays dirt either. Our coffees tasted as if the beans had been recycled several times. And the person on the counter was not wearing her face mask!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expensive 3 cupcakes for $16.50. 1 large which was $7 medium was 5.50 and the mini one was $4. NEVER AGAIN. The kids did not like them as was too dry. This place does not even deserve a 1 star review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ā touch of elegance after the melee of The Eatery. Busy but rarely packed. This place is a small oasis of peace in an otherwise hectic shopping experience. Good coffee, standard cafe fare.
