★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little spot beside the bay, fantastic for a day trip/ picnic, purakunui is beautifull, with lots of Tuis and fat wood pigeons , very relaxing to just relax to the sound of the waves and the songs of the birds, the park has some swings for the kids and the community notice board is located in the corner. Highly recommend.
