★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 3Nov16 How convenient! A convenience store on a corner. Not too sure about the Kiwi interpretation of this store's name: Quality Convenience. Many Kiwi's use the word convenience to mean bathroom or toilet. I bought a NZ$39 pair of polarised sunglasses from this store and saved myself a search and extended walking around Queenstown shops. I tried haggling with the Korean shop attendant but he shrugged and told me to buy the NZ$29 (unpolarised) glasses if I wanted a cheap product. Really, this little haggle sharpened me up for what turned out to be four hour walk and dinner! The Crowne Plaza hotel is right behind this convenience store but I don't know if there is a link between these two businesses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was so glad to have found this convenient store close by to my YHA lakefront hostel. I urgently needed to get milk and sugar and was thrilled to find this store having them! Its a huge shop and well stacked with a variety of products from magazines, sunglasses, dairy products to cereals, candies, chocolates, and toiletries.
