I don’t know where to start. We arrived earlier than we anticipated in Taupo. I called in to check if they allow early check in the first lady who answered said no they do not allow it. Second try another lady answered and said yes we can check in an hour earlier than the check in time. I forgot to get her name she was awesome. When we arrived in the reception and get the paperwork done. I asked about the breakfast like I wanted to know specifically if they do room service as stated on the website, I asked how about the breakfast, do you..? I haven’t even finished what I was about to ask the lady said no the breakfast isn’t included you need to pay it in the bistro. Also they didn’t inform us that you need to book in for a table in the bistro. So dinner came, we went to the bistro and they said they can’t accommodate us because we do not have a booking. Right, that’s fine. I asked can we then just order food and just send it to our room? The lady said sure. After she had taken our order and paid. We are about to go back to our room she said you need to wait for your food as we don’t deliver it to rooms (take note that on their website it says room service is available). We stayed patient and said ok. We waited for i dunno how long. I was trying to stay calm and patient. And was thinking, ohh maybe they will atleast put our food in a take away container as it’ll be awkward and humiliating to carry a tray back to your room. But heck NO! We literally had to carry 2 trays of food back to our room. I have never felt so humiliated ever! Also the Indian guy who’s the manager was so disrespectful. One of the waitress saw us waiting and approached us to ask if we wanted something to drink that manager kept on calling the lady even if he saw that she was talking to us. Not to mention that our room has linens in the plastic bags outside of our room. NO! i don’t recommend this hotel nor the bistro if you want to have a fun vacation. HECK NO!

Perfect location, magnificent views, beautifully renovated rooms and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying at this hotel, we will be back. Thank you John and Chrissy

On arrival we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who offered to show us the room before we said yes. The room was nice and clean and modern. There was not alot of noise and the location was great.

Clean, well presented comfortable and modern inside. Only grizzle is when staying on the ground floor being able to hear people above using the toilet and generally speaking moving around during the night is a bit unpleasant. Apart from that will be back again

Absolutely love the Suncourt Hotel. Rooms are beautiful and clean. Staff so helpful. Safe parking for our bikes. And the hot pool was just magic.. Food was delicious. Can't wait to go back.

First off. Great welcoming at reception. Rooms are awesome clean and tidy. Decor is recent. Ordered 2 desserts through room service and they were delicious. Will try the restaurant tomorrow and will update my review. I'm sure it will be great

We had a lovely stay at Suncourt! Had best welcome at reception with super lovely and friendly staff, the room was comfortable and beautifully decorated with a fantastic view (only downside was the slightly dated bathroom but honestly not a bother - still had good shower pressure ??). The black out curtains deserve a special shout out as they were incredible. The breakfast was genuinely one of the best we’ve had in a while and we will 100% be back!!

Sun Court was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. Booking was easy and reasonably priced. We booked a 3 bedroom unit for 2 days. The unit was spacious, clean, warm needless to say we we're pleasantly surprised. The only negative is 2 of the rooms were close to the hotel internal road so you could hear traffic coming and going. We are now aware that there are unit options away from the road which we'll consider next time. Otherwise we had a great stay and endorse the recommendation by my friend to stay at Suncourt Hotel.
