★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rod & Gunn was kind enough to allow me to take a jacket to Quick Fit to confirm the construction of a sleeve for alterations. One of the seamstress reviewed the construction and provided a quote. I then purchased the jacket and pants. I returned and I was then measured for a fitting. Once the work commenced, I got a phone call saying that she had overlooked a particular aspect of the construction and that she could not do the work.
I think she was genuinely sorry for the mistake; she rang a professional tailor to obtain a quote to do what she could not due to the complexity of the construction. In mitigation this event, she completed the hem on a pair of trousers without cost.
I know people make mistakes and I believe that the way she conducted herself was quite professional. I will return to have additional work done in the near future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been a regular here for a couple years, but I'm guessing there has been a change of ownership?
Took some pants in to take the waist in, and the lady said to me that it would be "too much work" to undo the seams(?) so she literally folded a flap and sewed it shut. She told me what she was going to do but I had no clue what she was talking about so I trusted her judgment.
Ended up taking them to another place. I have lost as much money tailoring these pants as I did when I bought them. I highly suggest to everyone going elsewhere to save your time and money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Used to be good, but the latest person there I wouldn't trust to darn a hole in my socks.
Completely lack understanding on how to make work look professional and trying to fix their poor workmanship just makes things worse.
Poor comprehension and communication... then plays the it's the customer fault. So a customer should be a professional and tell them exactly how to do their job.
Used to be a regular, now I'll never go back, get better alterations from my lawnmower

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best experience with this lovely business. I got 2 jacket zip repairs. I went to another alteration shop but they quoted me three times the price because they said they had to replace the whole zipper but actually only needed a new zip. So I love this store because they are honest and kind and wont rip you off and the stayed in contact with me. They asked for my permission before repairing the second jacket as it would be harder and cost more than we discussed. But still a great deal for excellence work
