★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely lady/owner (I think). Made us feel very welcome and we had a nice chat, with cold beer. Great price too.
Watch out for the old fella though, seems to be playing the miserable old guy attitude a bit too well. Lighten up bro! You have a lovely place and a beautiful dog. Things could be much worse.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really want to say their steak and attitude are terrible. I ordered steak meal. They said it gonna be cooked medium rare. But when I got it, the top of beef was burning and black colour. And tasting bitter because it was very over cooked. That’s fine. Change another one for me. But I can’t believe they (both the waiter and boss) said that was normal steak in their bar. If I wanna change I need to wait 45 more minuets and should pay again !!! Unbelievable?! I was treated like that just because I am a tourist, huh? I was a chef before, I know my tongue has no problem!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ #localtourismnz #paihia Does not have a happy hour. More for locals. Small bar. Live music Thursday to Sunday (check the board in the bar). Nice but don't expect a smile from anyone. Total opposite to the service you receive around Pahia. Won't miss anything if you don't go to this place.
