★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Can't fault the service, but food was very average. Twice cooked pork belly was tough/chewy with absolutely no crackle on the skin (just gelatinous fat).
Mashed potatoes tasted like they were made with from a packet, somehow dry and gluggy at the same time. Will not be back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had dinner last night. Unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. Waited nearly 1.15 hours for our meals, and then when it arrived the ribs were and chips came cold on soggy small chips, while another meal was similarly lukewarm with unappealing salad. Staff were extremely apologetic, yet despite the surcharge and high prices we initially were only offered a few free drinks. We ended up getting offered comped drinks, which was appreciated but still seemed a lot to pay (surcharge remained) to pay for four cold meals that took over an hour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our first time there with friends on a terrible wet Sunday. The staff were welcoming and service was very good.
The menu is perhaps a bit basic but we all found something suitable. Our meals arrived in good time, were tasty and portion sizes, well, big.
The cost was reasonable and we will certainly go back to the refinery and I'd happily recommend it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Refinery recently hosted our special family event. The staff went above and beyond to make it successful. Nothing was a bother and the service was great, lovely platters and food. Everyone had a nice time and staff also helped with the decorations for set up and helped tidy up our stuff afterwards. Cannot recommend them highly enough. They have a separate social room available for small groups, nicely decorated and private.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We held our fully vegan wedding reception dinner here. Kim and the team went over and above to make sure everything was perfect, including a custom vegan menu for the evening. The food was delicious, service was amazing, and our guests had a great time. Would definitely recommend!

The table I was allocated to was sticky like hell. Food below average bar food. The chicken burger was quite soggy and the chicken itself not crunchy and tasteless. All in all not the best experience. No revisit.
