Beautiful Host.. She makes it more homely?
Everything was spotless and hygienic.
The spa was perfect, the pool was nice and refreshing, the showers have the best pressure.
Nice and SPACIOUS.
Soo relaxing that you'll never wanna leave. The River walks right across the road have the most beautiful scenes to make your stay even more enjoyable ?
Definitely be back again ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WOW, Riverside accommodation is an absolute gem. We were welcomed as soon as we got out of the car, and greeted by the wonderful hostess Anita with one of the warmest smiles I've seen in a long time. A tour through the complex,and a little bit of local knowledge of the area and some great advice on places to go and see went a really long way. First impressions told us that we'd be back time and time again. It's clean, and very respectable, all you need is your clothes. The whole atmosphere was friendly and warm.
It's situated in the heart of the Karangahake gorge. The views from the deck are picturesque at their finest.
It is straight across the road from the main carpark to fantastic tracks that make this area so great. If your not into the walks, then kick back on the decks, in the spa, or even in the communal lounge and just relax and recharge your batteries.
Thank you Anita for welcoming Mel and I into your home, it is an experience that we will never forget and intend on coming back, often. Hopefully next time we can spend some time playing 8ball with you guys. Till then take care and stay safe x

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful place with fantastic host. Facilities are great and you feel instantly at home. The dorm room for six people is really comfortable and the beautiful walks in the Karangahake gorge start right in front.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A beautiful spot in the heart of some of the beautiful New Zealand countryside. Located over the road from the Karahake gold mines Riverside is the perfect place for those wanting to take a step outside of busy city life. So many things to do day and night. We've spent whole days walking through the beautiful countryside, we gone through the old gold mines and even swam in the crystal clear river.
The people that run Riverside are some of the kindest people we've ever met I couldn't recommend them more! The guest house has plenty of beautiful rooms even some including private kitchen and bathrooms. There's a deck outside with a chimenea to keep you warm into the evening, not that we needed it as it's been lovely and warm the whole time. We both particularly loved sitting out on the veranda and eat our breakfast in the morning or later into the evening. They also have a lovely hot tub and a large living room with a big TV which is great for movie nights.
10/10 Entirely fantastic experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the warmest stay at an accommodation me and my family ever had. Great location too and amazing price for the deluxe suite. The host is very informative/easy to communicate with and greeted us from the car.
Highly recommend.
