Under no circumstance should u swear at a customer with kids around when the staff got the meal wrong and to throw them out once they paid for their meal is utter disgrace. I think u should rethink your staff as thats just not on and clearly shouldnt be in hospitality. Shame on you. For the price of coffee and food a refund just isnt enough expecially with the way they were treated. ????

Food was awful. What seemed to be microwaved eggs with next to uncooked bacon.
Lemon cake that tasted like flour.
Coffee wasn't bad but it wasn't good either.
Staff don't care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pity you have to rate a star! Absolute shocking behaviour from a staff member / barista. Advised them that there were flies flying around in their cabinetry food. I understand that sometimes things happen out of your control (like the flies) but when I simply got told that they can't just stop taking orders and deal with the flies, that was unacceptable. There were 4 staff at the front, surely one person could get the flies out, when I pointed that out the staff member got extremely agrressive, loud and rude towards me. He was very pushy to cancel my order, refund me and get me out the cafe. I have never ever experienced such behaviour at a cafe or restaurant in NZ. Utterly disappointed as we had lovely service at the Te Rapa Robert Harris.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered Pancakes with berries. Presentation was good, but the pancakes were soaked and soggy. Berries were frozen, and can almost guarantee that the pancakes were microwaved as they had stiff edges.
For the price you're better off giving this one a miss. At least the staff were friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought a Chai Latte over the weekend, it started off really yummy,creamy and delicious, i had drunked over 3/4 of it, towards the end some thing tasted not right, so took the lid off and checked it out it it was the syrup, it wasnt mixed in and tasted foul, which ended me tossing out the 1/4 of my chai. Wont be going back in a hurry.
