★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner was lovely!!! Stayed with a group of four and the room was awesome with a spa bath (although jets were not working at the time) the kitchenette was tidy with utensils and pots and pans all available for us to use. The beds were very comfortable, fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow! All in all was a great experience for the cost, will definitely book again. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Husband was staying at Southern Cross Hospital so this motel was very handy. I mentioned to owner when booking that we were country people and he put us as far from road as possible. Didn’t hear a thing! So very quiet! Heater was on and unit warm when kids and I arrived. Then in the morning when leaving, I came out to find the owner defrosting my car! Thoughtful service and much appreciated! Thank you!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm staying in the 2 bedroom apartment, and I like that all the furnitures and gadgets are very well-kept and carefully chosen. It's a nice inviting, comforting space for my family. The hosts are also kind and very caring for our needs; especially with our infant daughter, we received extra help and service. The location is also very convenient, close to grocery store, cafe, and the city center. I would recommend this motel to anyone who needs a temporary home in Christchurch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent room, very clean and so comfortable! Very quiet and it had everything you could possibly need for your stay. Location was fabulous - so close to great Merivale shops and city! The owners were so welcoming and looked after me so well as I was staying for quite a long stay of 10 days! Thank you again and I will definitely be back! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible customer service. We booked late and requested a midnight check-in as per our booking websites' options. Contacted motel just an hour after booking to confirm our arrival time but whoever answered the phone told us he was sleeping, we could no longer stay there and would still be charged full price. No resolution, despite the room having only been booked for an hour. Had to spend the night freezing in my car after a huge week and long drive.
