★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been here several times. After our first accidental visit about 3 years ago, we love to come back in our motor home. The locals and pub owners/ staff are really friendly and welcoming. Fabulous service and food. The seafood chowder is to die for. And I'm not a real seafood fan... A must place to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All day breakfast was amazing! Beautiful bacon and sausages with properly cooked tomatoes and mushrooms. Soft poached eggs just how they should be. Excellent coffee to wash it down. Felt like Jack Reacher!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely old pub. Sat outside drinking a cold beer and wine. We enjoyed the friendly service and price was right. Will pop back tomorrow for another refill. The dog Wilson also loved the walk and the lay down in the shade. We are loving our stay at rotheram.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called in for lunch and we were more than happy with our meals. Servings were very generous and my steak sandwich was perfectly cooked and very tender with enough chips to feed an army. Wife's burger was also top notch.
Special mention to the lovely wee lady that served us, really made us feel welcome and was up for a laugh. Well done!
