β β β β β Was a nice relaxing stay. There is a restaurant and bar onsite which is nice. Shops are walking distance and fun activities. We bought the GrabOne voucher that included breakfast and admissions to the Hot Pools. I recommend going on a Sunday for the pizza & pasta night, food was excellent!

β β β β β Iβve always wanted to stay here as itβs an iconic accomodation in Hanmer. I had won a voucher through the nursing union.
Highly dated hotel. Probably the same carpet since day one. Bathrooms are American shower bath with 80s tiles. No air con. We found cluster flies in public parts of the hotel- not in our room. The free breakfast was a snack. There was a residue smell of smoke.
The service was pleasant, very relaxed. Great supply of towels.

β β β β β Mixed feelings about our stay. The staff is friendly, the beds are absolutely comfy, the bar is super chill, and the location is nice (then again it is a small town).
However, some of the night staff were super loud and they disturbed our sleep a few times (laughter and banter alongside the noise of dragging and moving stuff and some seriously loud bangs every now and then), the intercontinental breakfast leaves much to be desired, and the lack of AC in the room makes it hard to control the temperature (and with the noise, opening the windows was not an option).
Honestly, next time we go to Hanmer, we will probably consider somewhere else which is a shame because our stay in the previous year was quite different.

β β β β β We enjoyed our stay in this heritage hotel. The bed was super comfy and the staff were really friendly and helpful.. Room was clean and comfy.
The history and 1920s atmosphere really appealed to us. Our stay was a highlight of our holiday. Thankyou

β β β β β Overall I had a very comfortable and happy stay, such close proxy to the hot pools and an excellent in-house restaurant are great features, however for the price I would have expected it to be cleaner and to have working Wi-Fi in my Villa. The mini-fridge was too loud, I had to turn it off to sleep. The patio was very nice to relax on with the excellent range of teas included.

β β β β β We had a great stay. First night, room had bugs and stuff in it... a little dirty.. weird bathroom, but the hostess was lovely. As we woke the next morning and she had apologized about double booking our room, so we were kindly moved to a beautiful room near the tennis courts. Not a fan of the restaurant on site. But other than that, the gardens are beautiful, smack in the middle of town. Would stay there again.

β β β β β Didn't stay at the hotel but it looked very nice. Went to the restaurant and had a drink and some food. Went during happy hour so drink prices were pretty good, limited selection of beers but was OK, served in glass size but for the happy hour price this was all good. Grounds are lovely and staff were pleasent, little slow but other wise good.

β β β β β Always wanted to stay here as looked grand. Had a nice stay all over. Interior needs bit of update and brightness. Stayed in the garden patio room, had a very nice bed and a clean bathroom. Room was bit cold and found cobwebs too. Breakfast was nice and fairly priced.
