โ โ โ โ โ Great centre with plenty information both shared on your experience and in the gallery area to read. We were so lucky to be there on a windy day and say an Albatross in flight as well as 7 nests in two locations as part of the tour.

โ โ โ โ โ This place is amazing! Cafe makes incredible food and coffee with the gift shop being second to none. Everyone is knowledgeable and passionate about the Royals and their neighbours. The peninsula is full of wildlife with the colony providing the perfect sanctuary.
No government funding so locals and tourists alike need to visit here to continue to support!!!

โ โ โ โ โ Always a lovely place to visit, depending on the time of year - you're very likely to see Seals, seagull families, and of course - Albatross.
Easy little walks with viewing platforms to space yourself from other visitors, and the center itself has lots of interesting information to check out for free!

โ โ โ โ โ Staff were knowledgeable and very interesting to talk to. They were very helpful and knew their jobs well. Loved the tour. Well worth the money. Did seem a little expensive however as they are not funded by government funding at all, it was worth it. Really enjoyed. Cafe was great and loved the souvenir shop also.

โ โ โ โ โ Great visit, tour worthwhile.
Very windy so got a great view of albatross gliding by.
Was in small party, 9 people so guide took us from usual viewing area to small area and closer to nesting birds.
Also saw defence fort.

โ โ โ โ โ Dunno, pretty expensive tour cost. Only four nesting birds at the this time.
Car park full of seagulls and poo.
Lots of thistle.
Great outlook and place to go otherwise.
Bit of a tourist trap to be honest.
Itโs not the birds fault or anything - just a bit average
Wish it was a bit more accessible.

โ โ โ โ โ Love the view of the light house and the small gallery has so lots of history and information to read. I booked for an albatross tour but it was drizzling and too windy and cold, I have decided to cancel and refund. Til we return to Dunedin again, will surely take the tour on a good weather.

โ โ โ โ โ Lovely to see the birds soar across the ocean.
And the visitor center has an amazing array of information. Interactive fun things. You can also walk down to see the penguin burrows during the day and then take a tour at night once they wake up
