★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful breakfast at Rustic. Service was excellent. Prices very reasonable and the food is amazing! Generous servings of fresh beautifully cooked food. Big breakfast includes sausages and mushrooms (hidden under all the other food in the photo). Mugs of coffee are very large. Std cups available too. Wines spiririts and cocktails are also available and reasonably priced. Irish coffee is great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On a busy Anzac weekend we had 10 out of 10 coffee and a very tasty slice. Fast service, excellent value with a good size homemade slice priced at only $3.20. Staff are friendly and very welcoming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have had 2 lovely meals from here. Yesterday no photos but beef burger and french toast very nice and catered for gf toast instead of bread bun. Today was eggs, bacon gf toast and son had pancakes with berry. Again very yummy and staff are friendly, ordering gf no problem and would definitely return again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve eaten here twice so far and both times the food has been delicious. Highly recommend the wedges. Coffee was good and even satisfied the fussy palate of my husband. He snuck off here for breakfast while we swam and reckons it was delicious.
They were busy today but let us know how long food might be before we ordered which was really appreciated. Would definitely come back for another meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rustic cafe is our favourite restaurant at Hanmer and the most recent visit was another confirmation why!
We were there for lunch on Queen’s Birthday. We had vegetarian club sandwich, which was made freshly for us, was immense, tasty and satisfying.
We had also ordered garlic bread loaf. But we couldn’t finish the two items between the two of us, and had to bring a garlic loaf home.
The pot of tea was also large enough for two persons, and more.
We were fortunate to meet Stacey, who co-owns the place.
Today, once again, it was clear why Rustic Cafe was our preferred place for food at Hanmer Springs.
