★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst experience i ever had in NZ. I have never seen such a rude person in my life.
I asked for coffee at this place and the duty manager asked me for an ID. I said it was just coffee and not alcohol that i wanted. And the duty manager responded with its a bar, so its standard procedure. And i showed him my ID and he said that and i Quote "Is that really you" " It does not look like you" and being rude.
Such a horrible experience. Dont recommend this place at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere but for the price of the food I expected more.
The roast pork meal @ $24.90+- was to me, cold, and not worth the price. I could get way better at Mike's Roast in Otara, hot with crackles and roast vegetables at $13+-. The best part of the meal from here was the mashed potatoes.
The butter chicken price was about $14+- which is comparable to others but again was a let down. It didn't have the richness you'd expect from a butter chicken meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over 30 minutes to make chicken tenders is a little bizarre. Especially at 2pm when there are only 3 tables of people. Food tastes good, but don't go here if you're in a hurry.

Here we were greeted by a young female bar staff member.
Your infectious smile my dear made it a pleasant visit highlighting a well presented bar.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First time I've had a meal from Lumberjacks in a while and I just want to say... It was delicious! My son's enjoyed their dinner and we will definitely be back for more. Steak meal was on point. Compliments to the chef.
