β β β β β Excellent service! I am in Christchurch and I ordered a Carrot Cake last minute a day before my Dad's Birthday. He is up in Auckland and they managed to get it delivered on time for his birthday today! It was beautifully wrapped with a bow too. Thank you so much :)

β β β β β Go to for all work cakes. Price size and flavour. It is a vote for lemon or carrot. Small is perfect for 10 - 15 staff...unless I'm eating more than one piece that is!

β β β β β You know that cake from the movie βMatildaβ, this is what the chocolate cakes from here remind me of TBH. Used to really love cakes from here, but the care towards icing and writing the words one pays extra to add is very much missing now. Very sad as this place has always been my go to. But this is the 3rd trashy cake so itβs the end for our once loving relationship. The cake is borderline dry and average. Icing flavour is itβs redemption, but then that looks.... interesting. If youβre happy with a cake that looks like your average 12 year kid made it, then this is totally the place. Like itβs not BAD bad, but itβs really not good.

β β β β β Ordered a cake for a friend's birthday. Super impressed with the cake and how nice it looks. Customer service is a 10/10 aswell. Had a few problems with the post but they did their best to fix the situation and make it better. Overall I would highly recommend this place and would buy from here again ? Thanks guys

β β β β β An absolute disappointment!!! This was meant to be my birthday cake. When we opened the box we thought the external finishing of the cake looked rushed and crude. As we were cutting it, we noticed how dry the cake looked but then when we took our first bite we were surprised at how horribly dry it actually was. And here I was expecting a moist beautiful chocolate cake and what we got was appallingly awful. You get much better chocolate cakes from just the local supermarkets. I suggest whoever baked my cake at Send A Chocolate to take some baking lessons to learn how to bake chocolate cakes. Very, very disappointing!!!

β β β β β I ordered chocolate cake (150 pre-cut pieces) for an event. Reached home directly from the shop (30 mins drive) and checked the cake and was absolutely disappointed. The cake was so dry and easily one of the worst Iβve had in recent times! We were in a dilemma to serve it to 125 guests. But we had no choice last minute, we served it to our guests only to find out there were egg shells in the cake. When I called back and provided feedback, the person at the shop kept stating that the cake was moist when she cut into pieces before my pickup time. Just to prove my point, I went back to the store with a box of leftover cake (with few pieces of egg shell on it). No apologies, no acceptance, no comments on the egg shell. But did refund 50% of my bill when I returned one box of cake out of the 4 we bought. I do understand mistakes happen, but own it, correct it and do better next time for a better customer service. My order may be one of many orders and not be significant for you but it was a very important event and memory for us as we celebrate a special day in the family! Once used to be a good place for cakes, not anymore!
