★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The service was really poor. The older Asian lady staff with short hair was quite rude！I should read the google reviews before I made online order to Mt Eden branch. She made a mistake for scratching the cake in front of me and forcing me to buy it. She said she can still sell it to others if I don’t buy it. I bought two birthday cakes and some decorations. But she blamed me waste too much time. The actual reason is she is not professional, when customers come together, she cannot handle it. She gave other’s customers cake to me, also scratched the cake. She doesn’t think she has any problems, the attitude was really rude! Worst service ever！I will never come to Mt Eden branch again!

They sell the best cakes and sweets to satisfy Asian stomaches.
Not cheap thou, hey you pay what you get, definitely worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At Dominion road the ladie were really nice and their cakes were AMAZING!! I recommend if you don’t call them and go order them inside just because their more fresh inside and that the cake you order will have in stock (they told me blueberry cake out of stock so I went inside and got the last mango cake and it was SO good!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the cakes at the gateau house especially their kumara cake. This branch is close to us so we would often get from mt eden branch. On all ocassions I have bought cake from them, the staff was rude both in person and in phone. We buy cakes to celebrate, but with the staff’s attitude, it ruins the mood of the day. Not coming here anymore! Will go to new market even if its further away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ **TERRIBLE** We have ordered from this exact branch many times. When I placed an order for the chocolate trio cake almost 2 weeks in advance, on the day of my birthday they called almost at the time when were supposed to pick it up, saying that the cake we ordered was out of stock. Hence, telling me to pick another cake. They could've told me a week before my father was going to pick it up. However, they resorted to calling me on the day that the cake was meant to be picked up. I am absolutely disgusted by this, and I won't be ordering from this branch again.

We ordered a cake 2 weeks in advance (trio chocolate) for my brother's birthday. When my dad went to pick it up in the store, the lady has given a different cake to what we ordered. And their reason was that "there was no stock of trio chocolate" hence, they have given a different type of cake!! I mean seriously?? it was ordered 2 weeks in advance and it was accepted by them and they could have simply told us EARLIER if they have no stock. VERY DISAPPOINTING as it was my brother's birthday!
