Had to take a wahl expensive trimmer back as the t trimmer brock was told it wasnt covered by warrenty only had it 6 months was gonna cost me me nearly $70 dollars to replace i could buy a new trimmer for that the lady that sold me it was no help to busy on computer and told me that i told u trimmer parts not covered by warrenty i dont remember her saying that to me."take your money tho."I have had to already take two d.e razors back through being faulty. lets be honest over priced products and sadly has put me off ever going back to shaver shop westfield mail.Anyone buying a wahl trimmer to just be weary off this attachments not covered by warrenty

Hi, I purchased a WAHL Home Pro Hair Cutting Kit from the SHAVER SHOP in Westfield Mall Riccarton on 21/10/2020 at 11.30am. I left the kit I purchased with the sales rep intending to pick it up later after going to the toilet. I completely forgot to pick it up on that day. Following that, later in the afternoon I called the shop and explained that I live rural in North Loburn ( North of North Canterbury) and that I was unable to return to the shop the same day. However, the person I spoke to refused to accept my explanation and said that I have to collect my stuff immediately and that it is not his responsibility. On 24/10/2020 I went back to the shop to collect the kit I purchased, a person came to me and said that β€œ it's not my responsibility to keep your stuff and you must come and collect your stuff straight away no matter where you live”. He also mentioned β€œ you are not giving me any money to keep your stuff here”. He was angry and rude. I did not say anything in return as I was embarrassed and there were many other customers around me in the shop listening to this conversation. I am not very happy about the way I was treated. As far as I am concerned I do not see a reason why you cannot hold an item purchased from you when a customer (your customer) genuinely forgot to pick up? I also do not understand why you would not take into consideration where I live and that it is not practical for me to travel 60km’s return to pick the item up on the same day. I am a business owner/ farmer and there is no way I could make it as I have to milk the cows in the afternoon. It was a simple genuine mistake and it could happen to anyone but why was I treated so badly? I do seek answers for this and an apology as this incident has bothered me for a few days now. I believe that any business or a person in the shield of a business entity such as your staff should not be allowed to treat their customers or anyone the way I was treated.

The products are well priced and good quality. Please serve your clients in the order they arrive, this did not happen when I shopped with you. I am not sure if your staff were judging me on my looks. Ended up having to buy from your online shop.

Was brilliant service, I went in to get an electric toothbrush that was on sale, when there weren't any on the shelf, they gave me another that wasn't discounted at the discount price, which I really appreciated, definitely recommend, especially at sale time.

When purchased , the staff said bring back if anything wrong , warranty covered for two years. I bought the Waterpik water flosser, rang them on weekday and the shop staff said they will make replacement, brought the faulty product to shop on weekend another on duty staff lady said the part is not under warranty due to wear an tear. I have to buy the handle assembly even during warranty period. I hardly use this and the water jammed inside restrict the water flow I would consider this is functionality not wear and tear, I never drop the handle or unit on floor. If you don't want to make or swap an unit, at least handle Assembly should be replaced in warranty period.

Overpriced for sure, but I got my shaver here and I love it. Perhaps online can cost less? I do not know. Anyway, items are good. Recommend

Absolutely disgraceful. Made up theories on why something shouldn't be covered by warranty when it was meant to be for 2 years and it's only been 6 months of use. One place I'm not going back for sure and wouldn't recommend anyone to go either. Just reading other reviews- it seems that's a general trend for this store. For people looking at this, I also want you be warned about the "general" fake response from the shop to my review or others. It may be alluding to the fact that they actually care but trust me they don't give a toss. Their customer service is as fake as their warranties. I emailed on the same day per their message i.e. more than a week ago and still no responses. Save your money and go to a trusted shop where you will be looked after.
