The images of this set of sculptures pop up in my mind when I eat shellfish.
Shells are concrete and steel sculpture by Jeff Thompson. The work has five shapes based on mussel, paua, scallop, whelk and turret.
It is educational as well as fascinating, because I never know the names of the shells before my visit.
